As a neighbour to one of our walkways, we value your interest and cooperation in the ongoing development of this public asset.

Waihi Walkways vision is to create walks around the Waihi District, for good health and for appreciation and enjoyment of our natural environment. Added to this is the opportunity to view our unique heritage features, which are currently being researched and interpreted throughout the district. We believe this is a significant long term contribution to our community and a part of the upsurge of interest in walkways throughout New Zealand.

We would like to invite you to become a member of Waihi Walkways Inc, which will ensure you receive our newsletters and help keep you "in the loop" for all of our developments.

There is no cost for you to join our incorporated society, or any ongoing fees – you can participate at any level you choose. We hold committee meetings once a month, and occasional planting days which people are welcome to join as a volunteer. As our website develops you will have the opportunity to go on line and choose to walk a route suited to your requirements or you can follow the development of our walks as we update progress. Perhaps you have a skill or talent you wish to offer for a particular project. Your involvement with Waihi Walkways is as little or as much as you choose.
